The Complicated UTI Screen uses quantitative PCR technology to precisely assess the urinary tract microbiota, supporting the clinical evaluation of complicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) in adults, particularly postmenopausal and older women. This test goes beyond a conventional urine culture by assessing 34 markers related to microbial imbalance.
